The Lebanese American University officially broke ground on the Dr. Moise Khayrallah Pharmaceutical and Medical Research Center in a ceremony that marked a significant milestone in Lebanon's pharmaceutical research landscape.
The event brought together university leadership, faculty members, industry partners, and government representatives to celebrate the beginning of construction on this pioneering facility. Located in LAU's Industrial Zone on the Byblos campus, PMRC represents a major investment in Lebanon's healthcare infrastructure and research capabilities.
"This center will play a crucial role in the approval of safe and effective generic medications through rigorous bioequivalence studies," noted Dr. Sam Haidar, Executive Director of PMRC. "We are building not just a facility, but a foundation for pharmaceutical research excellence in Lebanon."
